Welcome to Vila Berta,

This great apartment is located in Vila Berta, one of the most charming streets of Lisbon, in the typical Portuguese neighborhood of Graça. This part of the city is characterized for having small buildings, beautiful views from the city, and is in walking distance from the most important landmarks: Castelo, Sé, Alfama, and Baixa/Chiado.

You will feel right at home with two bedrooms (one with double bed and other one with two single beds), one bathroom with full bathtub, a spacious living room and a modern and well equiped kitchen.

The Neighborhood - Graça

This cozy and sunny apartment is located in one of the most authentic areas of Lisbon, is a very quiet place, 2 minutes from Largo da Graça, on the way of tram 28, and very close to the most beautiful points of view of Lisbon: Miradouro de Graça and Senhora do Monte, and 5 minutes walking distance to Alfama, Castelo and the Ladra flea market. Is one of the most photographed area of Lisbon. 

With the Tejo river as a background, this area is ideal for long walks and healthy live. 

The fado, which is an old typical Portuguese genre of music, is unbeatable in this part of town. Take advantage of the proximity and go see the Fado Museum and loose yourself in the many small rustic bars (tabernas) where you can enjoy drinks and traditional foods. 

Close to the river, you will find the Club Ferroviario, which is one of the most innovative spaces in Lisbon. An open esplanade is the place where Lisbon locals and visitors go to get away from the busy crowded night live of the rest of the city. You will be able to take tango classes or watch live music while you drink cocktails comfortably sitting in a train sit. From the rooftop, you will be able to see the Lux club (one of the most well-known clubs of the city). 

A 5-minute walk from the apartment will take you to the Panteão Nacional that dates from the XVI century and has a large cupola that can be seen from many places in Lisbon. Inside you will find the mausoleum of some the most important and historical Portuguese people. From there, only a few more steps will take to the Lisbon gates called Terreiro do Paço. Here, let yourself be amazed by the splendor of the most visited plaza in Lisbon. Continue up north, and explore the commercial area of Baixa where you will find anything you want. Finally, eat along the river in one of the many restaurants. 

At the cultural space – Fábrica Braço de Prata, you will find exhibitions, concerts and movies. A restaurant, a bar and a bookstore complete this location. 

As the name comes from, go visit the flea market Feira da Ladra every Tuesday and Saturday of the week. There, you will find inexpensive bargains, vintage articles, antiques, old books and music disks, electronic equipment, and anything else you could imagine.

Transportation 
The tram 28 is 2 minutes from the apartment. In Largo da Graça you can find táxis and buses. The Santa Apolonia subway station is just 5 minutes away.
